This product is a highly functional biodegradable material for medical devices, and is a medical/bio-only raw material manufactured from low-molecular-weight OLLA-based or PLLA composite materials. It is a material that simultaneously has high strength, high toughness, and high heat resistance, and has the characteristics of being naturally decomposed within a certain period of time after in vivo implantation and safely absorbed by the human body, making it optimized for the development of implantable medical devices.

Through our unique low-temperature process-based Sol-Gel technology, we have realized uniform properties without reducing the molecular weight of the material, and it also has excellent mechanical performance such as tensile strength (60 MPa) and elongation (5.1%). It has excellent stability with residual moisture of less than 0.1%, and it has excellent biocompatibility due to the application of functional inorganic modification technology that suppresses inflammation reactions in the body.

In addition, it has radiographic visibility characteristics that can secure clear outlines even in X-ray and CT environments, so it can be used for products that require image tracking such as stents, grafts, and hemostatic agents. It is completely absorbed into the body after tissue recovery through accelerated biodegradation characteristics that are completed within 2 years, reducing the possibility of subsequent reoperation.

The product is available in gel type or porous spherical particles (50~250㎛), and can be customized according to the intended use. In particular, it is designed to be widely applied to various medical device applications such as scaffolds for tissue regeneration, biodegradable hemostatic agents, drug delivery systems, microneedle patches, and bioabsorbable stents.
