The Chocolatgen hCG Test Card is a home pregnancy test designed to qualitatively detect human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) in urine. hCG is a hormone produced during pregnancy that increases rapidly after fertilization, making it detectable in urine. This test uses an immunochromatographic assay and provides results within 5 minutes at a sensitivity of 25 mIU/ml. For optimal accuracy, using the first-morning urine is recommended as it contains the highest hCG concentration. In early pregnancy, low hCG levels may lead to a negative result, in which case retesting after 48–72 hours is advised.
