In a parking system, a detent lever is interlocked with a manual control lever.
Therefore, the detent lever rotates according to the rotation of the manual control lever.
This detent lever is fitted with detent spring assembly and parking rod assembly.
The detent spring engages in interlocking each of P to D sections; the parking rod assembly engages in parking the car on the P section along with a parking sprag.
When moving the shift lever to the desired position between P, R, N or D, it allows the driver to feel the change of speed and it presses and fixes the groove part of the detent lever so that it may not deviate from its position.
