NOTICE

• Jazz class gives one lesson video once a week. (You can take all the classes in the Jazz Class curriculum after 16 weeks).
• If you want lessons twice a week, please adjust the lesson schedule with your teacher.
• Answers to questions during practice will be made between 09:00 and 22:00 on weekdays (Korean Time), excluding weekends
• If you take all the classes up to CHAPTER 16, you'll get a jazz class certificate!

FAQ

Q. Can I have to take the lecture from the beginning?

A. Yes, you need to take the classes in order from the first class so that you can learn systematically without much difficulty.

Q. Is the assignment feedback provided by another teacher, not by Jimin Dorothy?

A. Jimin Dorothy is giving lessons in the video, but practice-checking and coaching will be done with another professional piano supervisor. 

Q. Can I take only video lessons without having a practice supervisor? 

A. Yes, feedback and practice management are essential to understand the contents of the lecture accurately and to improve your play skills.

Q. It’s my first-time learning piano, can I still take the lesson?

A. ‘Jimin Dorothy’s Secret Note’ is an advanced jazz course for someone who is already familiar with music theory and how to read scores.

Q. Can I learn specific tune that I want to?

A.  No, It is more of learning how to play jazz play structurally step by step rather than finishing up one tune. 

Q. How many lectures are there?

A. You can complete all the classes in jazz class for 16 weeks of lessons.

Q. Can I still watch the videos after the course is over?

A.  You could watch the videos until 1 month after the course is over. For preventing unauthorized distribution, we periodically change the password, so please refer to the notice on lesson chatting room.

Cancellation of Class

If you don’t notice us that you can’t submit your practice assignments on time or are hard to contact, lesson will be proceeded as it is scheduled and will be still counted as a regular class.

If you can't contact on the day of the lesson for 2 weeks in a row, it is assumed as abandonment therefore the course will be withdrawn.

If you have already taken half or more of the overall lessons, it cannot be refunded.

Refund policy

Tuition will be refunded in accordance with the enforcement decree of the act on the establishment and operation of private teaching institutes and extracurricular lessons, tuition.

✔ Before the start of the lesson: full refund

✔ Before half of the lessons proceeded: tuition that deducts proceeded lessons will be refunded. 

✔ After half and more of the lessons proceeded: tuition cannot be refunded

* Precaution for refund

For 16-lesson course, discount is applied for long-term course. Therefore, in the case of refund in the middle of the course after you payed for 16-lesson course, deduction of the tuition will be applied as 17.3 USD per each class, a class fee applied for 4-lesson course.
