Bumil’s fire resistant safes have been tested and approved for fire rating test from KS, JIS and UL, which are well known as international certificate organizations. This certificate can be acquired by passing the fire-resistant test that requires an ability to protect items inside the safe for 1 or 2 hours at 1000℃.

We maintain test certifications from UL, JIS, SP and KS for quality control and standard reliability. Products of Bumilsafe have been tested and approved annually in compliance with the stringent test methods by international certificate organizations such as UL, JIS, SP and KS. With an excellent fire resistance, bumil’s fire resistant filing cabinet is specially designed to keep important documents and papers.

The lock is installed on the top of the drawer, it controls the other drawer’s lock. Standard fire test is procedure by preheating the fire furnace upto 928℃. 4 thermocouples are placed inide the safe and it should not exceed 177 ℃ during the test. Crumpled paper balls or newsprint are placed inside the safe sample. It should be readable without scorch or burnt out after the fire test is finished
