FESTEC’s Limited Oxygen Index (LOI) tester measures the minimum oxygen concentration as necessary during specimen combustion. This equipment, the oxygen analyzer, is an adapted paramagnetic type that is precise, long-lasting, highly accurate, and highly reliable.

The Temperature Index (TI) tester measures the temperature index of a specimen by heated mixed gases at temperatures up to 400 ℃ in the atmospheric oxygen concentration. According to ISO 4589-3, to assess a material’s combustibility, its temperature is a better factor compared to the oxygen index.

FESTEC’s Limited Oxygen Index tester lowers the height of glass chimneys, gives data results from the DAQ System interfaced with PC, and offers a simple yet convenient design, such as a footswitch.

This meets the content of the standards.

Additionally, the LOI and TI can be combined. Thus, we called it the LTOI, which is capable of creating a real fire test condition.
