1. Big Ear
Big Ear, the Cartesian robot that has adopted the open screw as the world’s first instance, will change the existing perception of the linear module robots. Screws are mass-produced with the German-made thread whirling machine that handles production at C0 grade in the lead change per 300㎜. The fixed and supporting bearing that is installed by Big Ear boasts near-zero vibration as it is built into the outer diameter of the screw without involving the processing of the screw end. The large bearing attached to the open nut minimizes the noise and heat generation as it ensures the rolling over the sloped surface of the screw just like the train wheels roll over the rail track, thus opening up the market for ultra-precision linear module robots. With the invention of the open screw, the length of the linear module robots has extended beyond 4000㎜.
For the existing linear module robots, extension by 1,000㎜ reduces the speed of the linear module robots by 34%. Extension beyond 1,500㎜ reduced the speed by 70%, and the deflection of the screw disables any longer rotation. So far, the maximum length for the diameter of ø25㎜ has been 1,600㎜ and the delivery speed has also been low at 300㎜/sec. 2. SERO (the belt type gantry robots)

3.Speed Guide(a high-speed LM guide)
