ROUND AIR BEARING is versatile and can be used in both linear and rotary motion applications.

There is a porous carbon substrate on one side of the bearing, and the air is passed through the carbon.

The air bearing creates frictionless motion as there is no contact. In addition, a vacuum preload condition improves positioning accuracy.

Round bearings can be used semi-permanently because their components do not come in contact, and collisions are eliminated because airflow

through the porous substrate is also not affected by scratches.

The circular bearing is shaped like a hockey puck and has a porous carbon substrate on one side of the bearing, and air

passes through the carbon.

Generally, it is mounted using a Ball Mounting Screw.
