Neo Trans Co., Ltd, the only intercity metro operator simultaneously operating driverless Heavy Rail Transit (HRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT), was established in 2005 invested by 7 construction corporations in Korea, the Republic of. As an operator implemented the first driverless HRT in Korea, Neo Trans successfully conducted construction project managment (CPM) and operation preparation as well as commissioning test and operation of Gangnam ~ Jeongja phase of DX Line (Shinbundang Line). Furthermore, it is currently providing operation and maintenance service to Jeongja ~ Gwanggyo phase of the Shinbundang Line and YongIn Everline and construction consultancy service to Daegok ~ Sosa double-tracked HRT successfully.

Since its operation began in 2011 Shinbundang Line operated by Neo Trans is featured with experiencing no accident while the line has travelled approximatively 18,922,000km with no major disaster and thereby providing safe and superb transportation service to customers. NeoTrans has made a number of accomplishments by successfully providing Project Management and System Engineering (SE) of Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) system based Driverless Railroad Operation. Based on experiences of providing consultancy service on CBTC system, NeoTrans is currently providing technical consultancy service to Daegok~Sosa line whose signalling system is based on automatic train operation (ATO) and CBTC system and stands out for exceptional technology regarding to train operation and management.
