What is MMA resin?

MMA, an abbreviation for Methyl Methacrylate,

refers to thermosetting acrylic resin which uses MMA as the main diluent.

MMA resin, which is also used as medical material to be implanted

in human body, is an eco-friendly material of excellent safety.

It is the main ingredient of contact lens and many other medical 

implants such as artificial joint, 

bone, eye and tooth, showing its harmlessness to human body.

European and American countries already use this safe, 

material as construction finishing materials.

This material is the only one that can replace harmful flooring, 

inner & outer wall finishing materials being used in Korea.

Compared to existing resins which has a structure of forming pieces 

on the surface and covering it,

MMA resin reacts with ascon and concrete after being applied, 

melting the surface to unify the 

surface and material and strengthening adhesiveness.

This method of construction can be widely applied to all roads paved with ascon. 

Its purpose is to reduce the breaking distance of a vehicle by strengthening slip resistance 

on a road where there is low slip resistance due to asphalt and concrete.

parking lot, traffic circle, ordinary roads, children

protection zone, hills, places of frequent accidents

and all places where slip resistance is required

- clear observability (no bleaching, dis coloration due to sunlight)

- quick hardening (can use 30 min after application)

- low temperature hardening (construction is available during winter season when the, 

  temperature is minus 10 degree Celsius or above)

- excellent chemical resistance and salinity tolerance (no reaction to calcium chloride)

- excellent non-slip property (can adjust non-slip BPN level of the surface)

This type of construction has excellent effects in reinforcing strength thanks to,

It makes pattern on the floor paved with asphalt and concrete. 

It can prevent accidents thanks to special treatment of the surface which gives slip 

resistance.
