Indications
Restraint, sedation and analgesia associated with clinical examinations and procedures, minor surgery and preanesthesia in dogs

A potent α2-receptor antagonist, will reverse the effects of medetomidine (MEDETIN)
Clinically, the MEDETIN-sedated animals regain consciousness and their heart rate returns to the normal level

Reversal of the clinical effect of medetomidine (MEDETIN) in dogs

EQUADIN is a highly potent α2-adrenoceptor agonist in CNS
Analgesic effect and inhibition of pain impulse transmission in CNS
EQUADIN has a sedative-tranquillizing effect but not a hypnotic substance

Indications
● Sedation of horse and cattle
- Minor surgical operations, examinations, transports, treatment and medication

XYLAN belongs to a class of drugs known as α2-adrenergic agonist and a sedative that provides pain relief as well as muscle relaxation
The effects can be seen within 10~15 min. after I.M. and 3~5 min. after I.V.
The analgesia associated with xylazine only lasts 15~30 min. but sedation can last 1~2 hours
Complete recovery can take 2~4 hours
