The bony bumps and irregularly shaped areas such as the hand, wrist, ankle and foot are often difficult to treat with the ultrasound applicator in direct contact.

Water immersion ultrasound is ideal for these smaller areas and DSsono makes this subaqueous treatment far more convenient and effective.

DSsono gives both patient and clinician much freedom and safety through enabling patients themselves to treat their injured parts simply with the clinician's instructions, while the conventional underwater ultrasound has only been administered with the clinician who submerges the sound head and holds it approx. 1cm away from the patients skin surface.

DSsono's two 30kHz transducers inserted in the basin intensively target the treatment area.

DSsono also gives cost saving on consumables by using water as a coupling medium, not necessarily using gel or paraffin.

Underwater ultrasound with DSsono is a effective modality for the smaller areas especially the hand, wrist, feet, heel, Plantar Fasciitis and Tennis Elbow that are difficult to use direct contact ultrasound.
