Detailed Description
for excellent tatami & straw cutting performance as well as for training the tamashigiri and laido, and kumdo’s forms/types and it’s applications.
Using a traditional Japanese discipline & following a strict guideline of Japanese famed swordsmith to forge the blade [kitae] by Jun Gi. *Jun Gi is an apprentice of famed swordsmith Kunimasa Matsuba of Miyazaki prefecture.
This Japanese Samurai Musado was crafted by skilled hand sword-making artisan [called Lee SeoungHo] who has been working over 30 years in this industry in Korea.
This thin hexagonal blade is made of cabon steel and it’s great for cutting tatami & straw mats. However, it’s not suitable for cutting bamboos.
The blood groove on the blade is good for training the tamashigiri and laido as well as the forms & types of Kumdo [Kendo]. This New Musa sword is designed lightweight and superb quality. Tsuba was made of iron.
