DEXTER™ ALIF PEEK Cage is a lumbar fusion device used for an ALIF (Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion) approach (low transverse incision or paramedian incision approach). It is designed to support protection of the main vasculature and high internal fixation when inserted, and to reduce nerve damage with a cage structure that does not strain the spinal nerves. It aims to increase fusion potential through more extensive disk removal, reduce drug (analgesic) consumption, and provide less deterioration and firm fixation. Titanium markers allow surgeons to easily identify bone fusion conditions and the position of a cage by X-ray.
