[Company History]
It started with a firm conviction, the unyielding belief that with the collective rich knowledge and experience of the founding members, they could create and mark a permanent footprint in the world’s communication systems. Harnessed and driven by the vision shared, twenty-eight people from Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute (ETRI) took the leap and together, began building NEWRACOM in 2014.
ETRI, arguably the most innovative government-backed research institute in the global ICT field, is a recognized leader in the mobile communications technologies including CDMA, 3G/4G, and wireless LAN, and stunned the world by enabling Qualcomm to become the first to commercialize the CDMA technology.
As the twenty-eight founding members have spent more than a decade at the forefront of wireless technology development at ETRI, combined with leaders from international companies with commercialization background, NEWRACOM has the unique benefit of entering into the market with an already sound foundation, and the challenge of meeting the demands for devices and systems that match the current evolution of the 802.11ax/ah standards and associated technologies rests squarely within its expertise.

World's 1st IEEE 802.11ah RF/MAC/Baseband Single-die Single chip
"PeachTree"is a powerful SoC solution for IEEE 802.11ah. It has fully integrated radio transceiver and baseband processor.
The IP contains sub-1GHz modem that is the industry's first solution to support the IEEE 802.11ah can run simultaneously. It includes significantly large memory for various operations. Low-leakage retention RAM and registers are used to store modem states while in deep sleep modes. Additionally, it supports several peripheral interfaces.
"PeachTree" supports all mandatory IEEE 802/11ah features together with several optional features such as Target Wake Time(TWT). It provides up to about 15Mbit/s data rate, and supports key security features like AES-CCMP and IEEE 802.11w.
The RF transceiver is a complete radio front-end optimized for sub-1GHz band IEEE 802.11ah SoC implementation that is based on the industry's proven direct conversion transceiver architecture. RF IO ports are single-ended and a fractional-N synthesizer while the power amplifiers and LDOs are fully integrated for minimum BOM and PIN counts. A special LPO for the high Sleep Clock Accuracy(SCA) is also integrated for the low power applications.
PeachTree is a complete single die single chip solution that is compliant to the IEEE 802.11ah standard.
Various IoT type applications such as Smartphone, Smart City, Smartmeter, Industrial IoT, etc. can be supported.
