Medical district is home to Osong Medical Innovation Foundation and provides global scale comprehensive research infrastructure needed for high-tech medical product development to any business with innovative ideas. It is consisted of one headquarters and New Drug Development Center, Medical Device Development Center, Clinical Drug Manufacturing Center and Laboratory Animal Center.

In addition, National Biobank of Korea is in charge of government-level oversight of human body resources.
